COLD SPRAY

A maintenance solution designed to be applied by your own teams.

Goldseal Cold Spray is a lighter version of Goldseal Industrial Hot Spray. Designed to be applied by you and your maintenance teams, we’ve evolved this formula over the last 50 years to target corrosion in a number of different scenarios. With the objective to seal surfaces and halt existing rust, Goldseal Cold Spray displaces moisture and soaks into crevices when other maintenance paints cannot.

Two step maintenance solution

Step 1

Upon application it wets and deeply soaks into crevices, weathered or corroding surfaces, or nut, bolt and flange joints that cannot be separated or cleaned out.

Step 2

It dries to the touch, retaining active capillary tendencies against corrosive compounds and edge creep corrosion throughout its working life.

The result?

An innovative formula that is engineered for versatility and flexibility, and supports the comprehensive maintenance and corrosion protection of crevices, structural joints, welding and much more. Perfect for a variety of scenarios when dry film build paints are ineffective, Goldseal Cold Spray can be sprayed, brushed or rolled on — or easily applied by hand for crane or swing bridge steel wire cables.

The film build of Goldseal Cold Spray is proportional to its viscosity; the higher the film build as a stand alone coating, the longer its service life. It can be used for hand repairs, touch ups, modification additions or recoating without the need to remove the previous coating. However, complete coating removal is possible with mechanical scraping, solvent wiping or steam and heat cleaning.
